Q-MS organizes schools on materials science based on first-principles multiscale modeling software. Comprehensive introductory lectures are followed by step-by-step training on materials modeling problems. Available virtually and in-person.

Learning Goals

  • Modeling materials with Quantum ESPRESSO
  • Characterize materials properties with PAO-Flow 
  • Introduce solvent and electrolyte effects with ENVIRON
  • Tackle complexity and large scales with eQE and eDFTpy
